An Unforgetable Conference Given By Prof. Dr. Orhan Ulutin In Istanbul University, Faculty Of Medicine: The Place Of Ord. Prof. Dr. Erich Frank (1884-1957) In The World Medicine And His Contributions To Turkish Medicine

A Conference was held on April 7th 2006 to commemorate Ord. Prof. Dr. Erich Frank at the Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty. The Speaker of the Conference was a valuable Turkish scientist Prof. Dr. Orhan Ulutin who worked as an assistant to Prof. Frank. Other surviving assistants of Prof. Frank also participated in the conference and spoke out about their memories of this period. Prof. Frank being obligated to quit Nazi Germany came to Turkey in 1934 and rendered service for almost 24 years at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Istanbul. In 1957 he died while he was on duty he is buried in Istanbul.
