In this study, effort was given to investigate euthanasia in terms of law, medicine and ethics within its historical course of development.
For a doctor who adopted-with oath of Hippocrates the principle of being respectful to human life and protecting it from the time of fertilization till death, giving the decision of euthanasia and practising it is one of the most contraversial subjects that are being discussed today.
