Osman Bayatlı is a researcher who has dedicated his life to Pergamon (Bergama). He published many papers and books on archaeology, history, history of art, folklore, music and medical history of Pergamon. He worked as a Director of Pergamon Museum of Archeology and Ethnography for 32 years and contributed a great deal to the history of medicine and medical folklore in this area.
