Secrecy In Hospital Pharmacy

In order for the members of some professions to carry out their tasks properly, they are requested to keep some subjects they were informed as secrets.
In general,obligatory liability keep a secret is considered in such professionals as physicians, pharmacists, midwives, nurses, lawyers, bankers and notaries.
In the west, priests are also under discussion on the obligation of keeping secrets.
Hospital pharmacy, which has developed as a separate branch of pharmacy for centuries, is very new in our country and therefore has not thoroughly been established yet. However the field where hospital pharmacy is effective is the pharmacies in Social Security Institution Hospitals. The excessive number of patients in these hospitals affects the relationships between the physician and pharmacists, or between the pharmacist and the patient within the context of the relationships between the physician and the patient.
In this study, we’ll attempt to describe the problem of "secrecy" with samples, which has occured in hospital pharmacies.
