The Role Of Medicine And Doctors In Judge Records During Ottoman Period

The aim of this research is to reveal the role of medicine and doctors in cases related to justice in Ottoman period. “Bursa Kütüğü” and “Bursa Court Records” were used as main sources. “Bursa Kütüğü” which is written by Kâmil Kepecioğlu between the years 1930-1945 by collecting data from Bursa Court Records with his hand script in Ottoman Language is a kind of Encyclopedia of Bursa composed of four volumes. Now it is recorded in “Bursa Yazma ve Eski Basma Eserler Kütüphanesi” as Kâmil Kepecioğlu, Genel Kit. with number 4519-4522.
