An Assessment On Health Right And Human Rights

Summary
Transition of the relation type which is mostly based on the "principle of utilitarianism" and established between the society and individual in respect of health services into the "right" for one and "task" for other has become a current issue by the Universal Human Rights Declaration in 1948. The definition of "health" which is developed by World Health Organization as well as "Universal Human Rights Declaration" which is declared by United Nations had played an important role in order to establish the scope and content of health right in its current meaning. When considering the contents of Universal Human Rights Declaration and modern health concept, there are few points which human rights and health right meet. One of these meeting points is "to recovering of human".
In this study, as considering the place and importance of health right at the frame of human rights, the relations between health right and human rights are discussed.Keywords: Health, Health Right, Human Rights
