Soranus Of Ephesus And His Work,

aTıp Tarihi ve Deontoloji AD, GATA, ANKARA Soranus was born in Ephesus (98-138). Soranus studied in Alexandria and eventually moved to Rome, where he practised medicine. He authored close to many works on topics ranging from internal medicine to surgery. He practiced medicine in Rome during the rule of Trajan and Hadrian. About 20 books have been ascribed to Soranus, the most important being Gynecology.
