In this study the subject is dealed with the importance of dissection in medical studies, the legal issues about cadaver use in our country, experts' ideas about the trouble of getting a cadaver, improvements that cause the increase in bequathed cadaver, the cadaver bequathe to Trakya University Medical Faculty, the ideas of the inheritants of the cadaver and the students who worked on the cadaver, the evaluation of the basic principles of medical ethics after an overview of the history of cadaver use.
