Hymen Examination, As A Social And Ethical Problem

While doing these, some ap-plications that are against human dignity are neglected. Many authors consider hymen control among those. Hymen control, which violates basic rights and freedoms of women, and has social, legal, ethical and theological aspects still continues to be practiced in Turkey.
