Introduction To History Of Medicine Of The Cypriot Turks During The Ottoman Period

The manuscripts and printed books of medicine in the collection of the Library of Sultan Mahmud II (Sultan Mahmud II Kütüphanesi) which had been recently taken to a special section of the National Archive and Research Office of TRNC (K.K.T.C. Milli Arşiv ve Araştırma Dairesi / Girne) and some other related ones found in the National Archive (Girne) make it possible to a substantial extent to determine the nature and follow the historical development of the Cypriot Turks' medical understandings and traditions from the conquest to the first half of the twenteeth century.
