A Study About The Books And Periodicals Related With Medical Deontology And Medical Ethics In Turkish Republic Period

The books subjected to this presentation were classified and evaluated in the context of their publishing dates, languages, number of the authors, translations an copy-rights situations, contents etcetera and the quotations taken form these books were explained.
Medical Deontology books published just after decleration of Republic, were evaluated together with medical history even though they are two different fields.
As a result of the efforts for prevailing the subject, books on medical ethics, which had taken the new solutions, attempt and regulations into account were published.
The language of this books that took part in our study is mainly Turkish, but a few books written in English were also included in this study.
Most of the books written by only one author on medical deontology and medical ethics. But there are some books written by multi-authors combining their knowledge.
Beside numerous books in this field, few periodicals keep their importance as reference books.
It is very important reviewing the books and periodicals related with medical deontology and medical ethics for sharing the experience and knowledge in this fiels.Keywords: Deontology, Ethics, Books, Periodicals
