Medical Development In The History Of Medicine: From Colchicum Seed To Colchicine

In this paper, the historical developments are given from colchicum seed to colchicine. Colchicum seeds have been used for the therapy of gout for centuries. Colchicine, a matter of colchicum seed is also used for Behcet syndrome, today.
