Nurse-patient Communication Andits Importance From Patients' Perspective

Communication is the basic element of human interactions which has a special meaning for each individual. People can share their ideas and feelings with others through communication. And due to this kind of interaction individuals can have opportunity to be happy and to contribute to the happiness of the others arround-themselves. Success of a professional also depends upon his/her communication skills.
Communication has a more important meaning for the patients who are dependent to the others. Thus at this stage doctors and nurses responsible of taking care of the patients has additional responsibilities in setting the appropriate enviroment and establishing an effective communication on the patients well being, put an extra effort in increasing communication skills of their personel.Keywords: Communication, Patient, Doctor, NurseT Klin J Med Ethics 2000, 8:90-94
