The advisory services department in Eskişehir have been unable to obtain sufficient information for this purpose. The advisors pointed out that confidential information cannot be disclosed without the consent of the parties concerned and even then their identity should not be revealed.
A national training programme for advisors is needed and every centre should be equipped with suitably soundproofed and screened interwiew rooms.
The next stage is to implement a strict code and standard registration system. Keywords: Family planning, Advisory servicesTurkiye Klinikleri J Med Ethics 1999, 7:66-71
